- development of complex disinfectants for use in veterinary medicine;
- study of the physicochemical and toxicological properties of disinfectants;
- study of the bactericidal properties of disinfectants in relation to reference and epizootic cultures of microorganisms;
- testing of disinfectants in production conditions;
- development of optimal schemes for preventive and forced disinfection in livestock farms of various forms of ownership;
- scientific support and comprehensive quality control of veterinary and sanitary measures carried out at livestock enterprises;
- development of technologies for the production of probiotics for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases of animals;
- veterinary care of farm animals using probiotics;
- development of scientific foundations and methodology for monitoring infectious and invasive diseases of aquatic organisms in marine and inland water bodies of Ukraine;
- development and implementation of new methods for diagnosing infectious and invasive diseases of fish;
- development, testing and implementation in production of new environmentally safe means of protecting fish;
- study of the distribution and ecogeography of transmissible and vector-borne diseases of farm animals;
- study of the impact of natural and anthropogenic factors on the structure and dynamics of blood-sucking populations arthropods;
- study of the systemic impact of arthropods on the body of agricultural and domestic animals;
- study and assessment of the epizootic situation, monitoring of parasitic diseases of pigs, rabbits, fur animals in agro-industrial and farming enterprises of Ukraine;
- monitoring the spread of especially dangerous bee diseases across the territory of Ukraine;
- diagnosis and differential diagnosis of parasitic diseases of bees (varroosis, acarapidosis, nosemosis, amebiasis, braulosis, tropilelaposis, small hive beetle, etc.);
- study of the biological properties of pathogens of infectious and parasitic diseases of bees;
- development of environmentally safe means and measures to protect bees from the occurrence and spread of major dangerous diseases;
- determination of nonspecific resistance of the insect organism in order to predict the occurrence of diseases;
- research of beekeeping products (honey, propolis, wax, flower nectar) pollen, royal jelly, etc.) to determine quality and safety.
