Areas of scientific research:

• study of the features of the development of the system of providing innovations in the field of veterinary medicine and development of a methodology for their transfer to production;
• study of methodological approaches to marketing research in the field of veterinary medicine in order to improve the innovative activities of the NSC "IECVM", promote and implement scientific products on the knowledge-intensive market;
• monitoring the results of scientific research in order to identify commercially viable intellectual property objects;


• conducting patent and market research through a comprehensive analysis of information on technical solutions (inventions, utility models) for further assessment of the market situation;
• legal protection of intellectual property objects: establishing the novelty of intellectual property objects, their inventive step and industrial applicability, determining the state of the art (search for analogues, prototype);
• formation of document packages for obtaining protection documents: patents for inventions or utility models, certificates for trademarks for goods and services;
• monitoring the progress of a patent application from the date of filing to receipt of a protection document;
• processing applications for inventions or utility models, studying relevant documents using information search methods, cooperation with expert bodies of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Institute of Intellectual Property";

• formation and publication of a periodic interdepartmental thematic scientific collection "Veterinary Medicine", which is included in the list of professional publications of Ukraine and in the scientometric database of the RINC (since 2014);

• formation and publication of the English-language periodical "Journal for Veterinary Medicine, Biotechnology and Biosafety" (the journal was founded in 2015, since 2016 it has been included in the list of professional publications of the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the fields of veterinary and biological sciences, cited in the international scientometric databases Google Scholar, RINC (e-library) and Index Copernicus;



• preparation for publication of materials of reference books, monographs, recommendations, methodological manuals, abstracts, dissertations, tablets, advertising brochures and booklets, etc.;
• organization and holding of exhibitions, seminars, conferences, symposiums;
• Development and implementation of general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories DSTU ISO/IEC 17025:2006;
• Improvement of legislative and regulatory documents for veterinary immunobiological preparations and the procedure for their formation for the purpose of registration, re-registration or amendments in the territory of Ukraine;
• Tracking the validity of documents of a permitting nature and regulatory legal acts;
• Development of modern methods of quality control of veterinary immunobiological preparations and bringing existing methods into line with the requirements of modern European and international standards;
• Development of modern and improvement of existing biosafety and biological protection systems, and their implementation;
• Creation of a highly functional regulatory framework for the standardization system for veterinary drugs.
