Areas of scientific research:
- development and implementation of a methodology for monitoring the epizootic state of Ukrainian livestock farming for bovine leukosis in farms of various subordination using serological (RID, ELISA) and molecular genetic research methods at the accreditation level in accordance with the requirements of DSTU ISO/IES 17025:2006;
- analysis of the effectiveness of preventive and health-improving anti-leukemia measures in Ukrainian livestock farms and their correction in accordance with modern requirements for ensuring the epizootic well-being of livestock; - development and improvement of modern diagnostic tools for bovine enzootic leukosis based on in-depth study of the biological properties of the pathogen;
- serological (RID, ELISA) and hematological diagnostics of bovine enzootic leukosis in order to determine the stage of development of the infectious process of a particular animal in order to radicalize measures taking into account its role as a chain of the epizootic process;
- rehabilitation of collective farms' livestock from bovine enzootic leukosis while ensuring minimization of costs from reduced productivity and livestock numbers by gradually replacing cows infected with the leukosis virus with healthy heifers raised from their own reproduction.
