During his visit to the Republic of Poland, Borys Stegniy, Director of the NSC "IECVM", Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, met with Krzysztof Nemczuk, Director General of the National Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy, Professor, Foreign Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, and leading scientists of the Institute.
The collaboration between the two top veterinary research centers has lasted for nearly 20 years. This has enabled us to effectively carry out numerous research projects, conduct professional testing in the field of laboratory diagnosis of animal diseases, prepare joint publications, and hold scientific forums.
During the meeting, the two leading scientific institutions discussed areas of cooperation in scientific projects, joint research, internships, and professional testing for employees. As a result, they updated and signed the relevant bilateral agreement on cooperation between the National Scientific Center 'Institute of Experimental and Clinical Veterinary Medicine' and the National Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy (Poland). The implementation of this agreement will enhance the integration of domestic veterinary scientists into the European and global scientific community, facilitate international research projects, including those under the Horizon-Europe program, and strengthen food security standards in Ukraine.
