Laboratory stuff works with complex of problems in sphere of molecular diagnostics, epizootiology and biotechnology. We have three main directions of scientific work in present time. These directions are combined with decision of scientific tasks in the frames of 6 state and 4 international projects.

Directions of scientific work:

·  Development and improvement of methodic approaches for infection agents detection for animal viruses and bacteria's in PCR, RFLP, T-step et al., tests validation and diagnostics kits development

· Molecular epidemiology study and phylogenetic studies of HPAI viruses, NDV, BVDV, PCV-2, BLV, et al.

·  Development of biotechnological constructions on the basis of recombinant DNAs

PROJECTS

National Scientific Center “Institute of Experimental and Clinical Veterinary Medicine”

1. Task 32.01.01.1-01 To study phylogeography and microevolution characteristics of orthomyxo-, paramyxo-, corona-, flavi-, arterio– and circoviral diseases of animals.

2. Task 23.3-01.07 To study expression effectively of cassette vectors based on host-specific promoter regions and chimeric genes of animal viruses for recombinant antigens development.

3. Task 32.01.02.1-02 To study marker nucleotide sequences of genetic modified plants and to develop system for its screening in the feedstuff, based on PCR.
